Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Michigan Endoscopy Center is following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and enhancing protocols and screening for anyone who enters our facility. The health & safety of our patients, and our staff, will continue to be our first priority.
At Michigan Endoscopy Centers, all patients, visitors, and staff will have a temperature check and answer COVID-19 screening questions. Check-in and waiting areas have been modified to allow for a 6ft distance. Enhanced cleaning regimens remain in place with all high touch areas cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized regularly. A pre-procedure negative COVID-19 test may be required depending on location of procedure. However, if you are already awaiting results of a COVID-19 test, you are required to provide the negative result regardless of your center requiring a test.
